Epoxy Gone Bad

I made an aluminum backing plate to hold plate nuts in the flange. Although I pre cut my laminations and fit the parts, it turned into a giant gooey mess. I had to pitch out the second lamination and finish wetting out the existing one with epoxy on a brush. The holes were too small to work inside with more than one hand.
Ugly, but possibly salvagable.....
